Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Review and accurately code medical diagnoses, procedures, and services using ICD and CPT coding standards.
- Verify clinical documentation and ensure coding accuracy and completeness.
- Identify coding discrepancies and coordinate with clinical teams for clarification.
- Maintain compliance with UAE healthcare and insurance coding guidelines.
- Support claims processing and resolve coding-related queries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Coding, Health Information Management, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in UAE healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and medical terminology.
- Good attention to detail, analytical skills, and documentation accuracy.
- UAE healthcare/insurance experience is preferred.
