Job description
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced DHA Licensed General Practitioner to join our school healthcare team as a School Doctor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services to students and staff, managing medical emergencies, promoting health awareness, and ensuring compliance with DHA and school health regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical consultation and treatment to students and school staff.
- Assess and manage illnesses, minor injuries, and medical emergencies within the school premises.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation as per DHA guidelines.
- Monitor students with chronic medical conditions and coordinate care plans when required.
- Conduct health screenings, vaccinations, and preventive healthcare programs.
- Provide health education and awareness sessions for students, parents, and staff.
- Coordinate with parents, teachers, and school management regarding student health concerns.
- Ensure infection control measures and health & safety protocols are followed.
- Manage referrals to specialists or hospitals when necessary.
- Support school compliance with DHA regulations and inspections.
